Jar Donation Program

Reusing saves resources, reduces single-use waste, and supports a circular economy.

Bring your own jars or use some of the dozens that have been donated by your neighbors! We highly recommend bringing your own containers back again and again (the idea behind a refillery is to refill the containers you’re already using). It keeps perfectly usable containers from becoming waste! That said, we understand that you may be switching to a refillable product for the first time, or you may just forget to bring the jars you have at home.

If you’re bringing your own, we’ll refill any container that can fit more than 1 ounce of your chosen product in it.

If you’re looking to donate, we ask that the jars are:

  • Empty, dry, and at least rinsed clean
  • Water-tight and fitted with a tight lid
  • Not overly odorous – no smelly pickle or salsa jars, please!

Sorry, but we do not take:

  • Plastic containers
  • Liquor bottles
  • Wine bottles

Please only donate during business hours, and give us a maximum of 10 jars at a time.

If you need any jars for whatever various projects or craft ideas, we have all shapes and sizes (including mason jars)! Feel free to stop by during business hours and rummage through our current donations.
We also always keep a free pile of extra containers that we can’t refill, plus cruets, droppers, extra lids, and more that are begging to be reused in a creative project!
