CoffeeSock filters are a reusable alternative to disposable paper filters and nylon sacks.

  • To use: empty nut blend, rinse, and hang to thoroughly dry.

The CoffeeSock Nut/Oat Milk Recipe (64 ounce serving)
  • 2 cups of Raw Nuts or Oats (soaked or blanched)
  • 4-8 Medjool Dates (optional to sweeten)
  • 1 Whole Vanilla Bean or 1/2 tsp. of vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp of Nutmeg or Cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp of Sea Salt

  1. Pour boiling water over nuts or oats to cover and let stand for an hour. Alternately soak refrigerated in cold water overnight.
  2. Drain nuts or oats and place in a blender.
  3. Cover nuts with filtered water.
  4. Add other ingredients as desired.
  5. Blend thoroughly until nuts are finely chopped.
  6. Secure filter on the neck of jar.
  7. Pour liquid nut mixture into filter and let the liquid pass into the jar.
  8. Twist the neck of the filter, wrap strap around twisted fabric, fit ring over twisted neck of filter, drop filter into the jar.
  9. Fill jar with filtered water to 8 cup mark.
  10. Let rest in refrigerator for 6 hours to overnight.
  11. Remove filter while wringing out liquids.
  12. Slowly twist and lower ring to squeeze out all milk.
  13. Remove filter from jar and enjoy!

** You can use the leftover pulp in cookies or breads!
