This tasty combination of 13 different legumes is excellent as a soup base or ladled on steamed rice or your favorite grain. Contains black beans, pinto beans, kidney beans, small red beans, navy beans, large and baby lima beans, chickpeas, black-eyed peas, green and yellow split peas, lentils, and red lentils. Each of these beans and legumes brings a little more flavor and nutrition to the table (or bowl), for a perfectly delicious and healthy meal with 13g of protein per serving!

DIRECTIONS:
Quick Soak: Place washed and sorted beans in a large pot and add water. To 1 lbs of beans add 8 cups of water. Bring to rapid boil, boil for 32 minutes. Remove from heat. Cover and let stand 1 hour. Drain water and rinse beans.
Overnight Soak: Place washed and sorted beans in a large pot and add cold water and cover. May be soaked overnight or at least 8 hours. Drain water and rinse beans.
Cooking Instructions: Add 6 cups hot water to drained and rinsed beans. Simmer gently with lid titled until desired tenderness reached, about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
