Better World Book Club

Climate anxiety can be debilitating, but one way to beat it is to educate yourself. We’re always advocates for sustainable education, engaging with your community, and having grace for yourself, and the Better World Book Club combines all these into one fun night, once a month.

If you’re a curious person who wants to connect with other curious people and have thoughtful conversations in person about being a consumer in the modern world, you’re in the right place.

Together we’ll explore books (and our feelings!) about sustainability, consumer culture, community, nature, and building a better world for everyone.

We’ll be meeting on the third Tuesday of the month from 6-7:30pm at Cypress & Grove near downtown Gainesville, FL. They have a really nice private room in the back of the brewery that they are graciously letting us use, plus they sell tasty beer, wine, and n/a beverages. Food-wise there is usually a food truck parked outside, and we will also be bringing light snacks.
