DIRECTIONS:

1. Start with dry hands and a dry face. Wetting your face or hands will disrupt the cleansing oil's ability to reach your skin, since oil and water do not mix
2. Apply about 1/2 teaspoon of cleansing oil to your face
3. Avoiding the eye area*, massage the oil in small upward circular motions across your face
4. Allow the oil to sit as you soak a washcloth in warm water and wring most of the water out, so that the towel is not dripping
5. Hold the towel to your face as a kind of hot compress to soften your skin and open pores
6. Gently and slowly wipe off the cleansing oil with the wet cloth, using the same circular motions
7. Rinse the cloth and repeat wiping off the oil until there is not any oil left on your skin

* To remove lipstick and eye makeup, including mascara: put a couple of drops of oil on a cotton cloth, pad or swab and swipe over lips and eye area. This is a gentle eye makeup remover, but take care not to get it in your eyes.

**Your skin may go through an "adjustment period," as this cleanser is oil-based, unlike many harsh cleansers or makeup removers. It may take a week or two for skin to adjust, leaving you with more oily skin or more breakouts while impurities leave the skin.
